Steve Thompson is the Assistant Vice President for the Institute of Public Service at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Thompson earned his MPA from the University of South Carolina, and his PhD from the University of Tennessee. He and his wife, Christine Peralta Thompson '77, live in Knoxville, TN.

Mark Shiver works for the North Carolina General Assembly as the Communications Liaison for the North Carolina House Republican Caucus. He lives in Knightdale, NC, and is also an ordained minister.

Gary Lipscomb is a Senior Systems Analyst for Hillrom. He lives with his wife, Jackie, in Mount Pleasant, SC.
1988
Teresa Tincher was inducted into the CofC Athletics Hall of Fame in January as a dual-sport athlete in volleyball and women's basketball. Ms. Tincher led the Cougars to three District 6 Championships and three NAIA Championship appearances in volleyball. In women's basketball, she is a member of the 1,000 Point Club and ranks 27th all-time in career scoring with 1,016 points. Ms. Tincher retired from Berkeley County School District in June 2018, and resides in Hanahan, SC.

Jackson Davis has joined Royal Caribbean Cruises in Miami, FL, as Director, Global Inclusion and Diversity. He has over 20 years of experience in thought leadership and program implementation in diversity and inclusion.
Frank Wells is the Founder and Chief Resource Officer of HolyCityMed Urgent and Primary Care in Charleston, SC. The clinics hope to make healthcare more affordable for small business owners, food and beverage workers, and their families.

Peter Beirne is the Lead Trial Attorney for The Paul Law Firm. He lives in Santa Clarita, CA, with his two sons, Perrin and Kellan.
1997
Anthony Johnson is the all-time career assists leader for CofC Basketball and the first CofC player to be selected in the NBA Draft. He played in the NBA from 1997-2010, and was recently inducted into Charleston's R.B. Stall High School Hall of Fame, alongside Earl Grant, the Men's Basketball Head Coach at CofC, also a Stall High School graduate.
1998
Quentin Baxter, Clay Ross, Kevin Hamilton ’95, and Quiana Parler ’01 are members of the Charleston-based quintet, Ranky Tanky. Mr. Baxter is on drums and percussion, Mr. Ross is guitar and vocals, and Mr. Hamilton plays the bass. Their latest release, Good Times, offers the group's first original songs inspired by Gullah tradition and was the winner of the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Regional Roots Music Album.
Shannon Hartman is the Director of Sales and Marketing at Emeline, a boutique hotel in downtown Charleston, SC. She has 20 years of sales, marketing, and project management experience and earned her International MBA from the University of South Carolina.

Courtney McCormick Salton is an oil painter and owns Courtney Salton Fine Art in Charlotte, NC. She was included in the Up-and-Coming Shain Gallery Invitation in Charlotte as one of the featured artists. She and her husband, Rusty, have two daughters, Sophia and Bridget.

Kyle Lourie is the Global Director of Sales for Associated Luxury Hotels International. He lives in Roswell, GA, with his wife, Heather, and their two daughters, Jordyn and Logan.
Ellis Roberts and his wife, Mary, welcomed their fourth son, William "Bo" Hargett Ellis, on December 16, 2019. The Roberts family lives in Mount Pleasant, SC. Ellis is an attorney and partner with Monoc Roberts in Charleston.

Alicia Amico married Benjamin Isherwood on September 6, 2019, in Las Vegas, NV. The couple followed their wedding with a honeymoon in Italy and now reside in Tewksbury, MA, where Alicia works as a Front Office Manager for WellPet.
Andy Hurd is the Finance Operations Representative for WakeMed Health & Hospitals. He lives in Cary, NC, with his wife, Heather, and their son, Thomas.
Mark Steelman was inducted into the CofC Athletics Hall of Fame in January. He is the winner of six individual collegiate golf tournament titles, and was Team MVP for three-straight years. In 1989, he led CofC to the NAIA National Championship, where the team finished 13th in the country. In 1998, Mr. Steelman became the College's first full-time golf coach, and in 2000, was named Southern Conference Coach of the Year. During the 2000-01 season, CofC was ranked a program-best No. 25 in the nation. He is a Superintendent at D.R. Horton and lives in Myrtle Beach, SC, with his wife and three children.
Amy Chornyak Strunk is the Owner of Amy Strunk Designs in Chapel Hill, NC. She earned a master's degree in landscape design and sustainable landscapes from The George Washington University in 2008. She has two children, Graham and Finley.

Stephanie Gottlieb Kaplan is the Senior Product Manager, Hardware for Peloton Interactive. She lives in New York City with her husband, Michael, and their two children, Alexis and Gabriel.
Troy Wheless was inducted into the College of Charleston Athletics Hall of Fame in January. He is one of only three men's basketball players to be named an Associated Press Honorable Mention All-American. He was also named the Southern Conference Player of the Year and to the All-SoCon First Team in 2003. During his career, CofC won four SoCon South Division Championship titles, compiled a 92-30 record, and made a NIT appearance in 2003. Mr. Wheless ranks 34th all-time in career scoring (1,108) and fifth all-time in career three-pointers made (208). He is a Deputy in the Franklin County (NC) Sheriff's Office./p>

Katie Scott Crawford (MA), of Brevard, NC, published a short story revisiting the characters from her 2012 historical novel, Keowee Valley: "Evergreen and Expectations: A Keowee Valley Christmas Story." Ms. Crawford's short story can be found on amazon.com. She has also launched a series of seasonal retreats crafted for writers and creatives in the mountains of Western North Carolina.
Scott Foxhall is the Assistant Baseball Coach at Mississippi State University in Starkville, and has over 24 years of coaching experience. He is being recognized as the Rod Dedeaux Foundation Teaching Professional of the Year by the American Baseball Coaches Association. Coach Foxhall was a pitcher for the Cougars for three seasons, and began his coaching career at the College.
Abby Henry is the Volunteer Manager for Ronald McDonald House Charities of Charleston, SC.

Rachael Stern Price was inducted into the CofC Athletics Hall of Fame in January. In 2003, she was named the SoCon Pitcher of the Year, and was selected the MVP of the 2005 SoCon Tournament. She became the first women's softball player to be inducted into the CofC Athletics Hall of Fame. Mrs. Price lives in Shawboro, NC, and is an elementary school teacher.

Zach Bjur and Tripp Brower '13 began a two-year sailing circumnavigation in November, 2019. Their mission is to examine how climate change and environmental issues impact communities and cultures around the world, and to celebrate local action that makes a difference and might serve as a model for others.
Cameron O'Banion and Ben Frank were married on November 27, 2015, and live in Nashville, TN. Ms. Frank is the Parallon Corporate Payment Compliance Director for HCA, and Mr. Frank is the President of Provision Healthcare. Both earned masters degrees in healthcare administration from MUSC.
James Maners (MBA) is an Attorney for Butler Snow Law Firm in Nashville, TN, and practices with their commercial litigation group. He earned his BA from Clemson in 2008, and his JD from Vanderbilt University in 2019.

Olivia Roberson completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at the Breathing Room Yoga Center in New Haven, CT. She also completed her 300 hour Foundations of Yoga Therapy course through Inner Peace Yoga Therapy, where she studied yoga for depression, grief relief, recovery, and other specialized topics. She is continuing her advanced training in Yoga Therapy at Inner Peace and lives in Potomac, MD.
