Ring Tradition Night
Thursday, February 27, 2020
4-5 pm
CofC President’s House, 6 Glebe Street
You are cordially invited to come to the President’s House to place your College of Charleston ring inside the College’s first classroom. This home was built in 1770 by Bishop Robert Smith and he taught our first students on the ground floor. Your ring will spend the night in this hallowed space so it may be instilled with the spirit of Bishop Smith and the very first students of the College. You will receive a certificate certifying your ring spent the night in the original classroom. The next day, the rings will be brought to Memminger Auditorium for the Ring Ceremony that evening.
