Pete Pillow of Irmo, SC, received a "Service Above Self Award" in recognition of his success as Public Image Chair of Columbia's Capital Rotary Club. He is a retired journalist and public information officer who joined Capital Rotary in 2006. In the past two-and-a-half years the club has distributed 170 news releases, had 12,000 website visitors, and reached 11,000 people through social media.


Mark Stenhouse has joined Exact Sciences Corporation in Madison, WI as President of its subsidiary, Cologuard. Cologuard is the only FDA-approved, noninvasive, DNA-based test for early detection of colorectal cancer. Mr. Stenhouse spent almost 30 years with Abbott Laboratories, most recently as Vice President.

Cindy McDougal Winston teaches biology and was selected as the 2017-2018 Campus Teacher of the Year at Agave Middle and High School in Tucson, AZ.


Steven Niketas of Charleston, SC, is owner of Stella's Restaurant and Mosaic Catering & Events with locations in Richmond, VA and Charleston.


Megan Pace of Boston, MA, has joined Moderna Therapeutics as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer. The company is a clinical-stage biotechnology company pioneering messenger RNA (MRNA) therapeutics and vaccines to create a new generation of transformative medicines for patients. She has nearly 20 years of experience in the biotech sector.

Dorothy Porcher Holland of Charleston, SC, was recently named "Agent of the Month" at Ears of Experience and received a Silver Star award for contributions to the travel agency. She loves being a "Magic Maker" while providing full booking and planning services at no extra cost for her clients who book their Disney and Universal vacations with her.

Marty Stockdale of Coral Springs, FL, has been promoted to Product Manager for Canon Solutions America. He joined the company in 2016 as a Sales Support Specialist, and now is responsible for the Canon VarioPrint 6000 Series production digital monochrome toner press.


Jamie Tuttle has been named Dean of Students at the new international school, Avenues: The World School in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He will be on a leadership team which will open the first of 20 campuses across the world. Avenues is a worldwide system of private preK-12th grade schools which was founded in New York in 2012.


Ashle Cooper of North Augusta, SC, is Senior Athletic Trainer at Augusta University Sports Medicine. She earned her M.A.T in elementary education from South Carolina State University in 2003.


James London is opening a dock-to-table seafood restaurant called Chubby Fish in downtown Charleston in May 2018.


Max Gouttebroze of Westminster, MD, is Vice President, Marketing and Communications, for Rebuilding Together, which works to preserve and revitalize low-income homes and community facilities in Washington, D.C.


Sara Turner of Charleston, SC, has announced the formation of The Law Office of Sara A. Turner. She has practiced law for almost six years with a concentration on criminal defense, family law, and personal injury cases. She earned her law degree from Charleston School of Law.

Sean Wilson has recently opened the Law Office of Sean M. Wilson, LLC, in Charleston, SC. He was also elected Chair of the Dorchester County, South Carolina, Democratic Party.


Eveta Haynes of Summerville, SC, is the Founder and Director of the Non-Profit Information Resource Center for Excellence (NICE). She earned her master's in discipleship ministry from Liberty University in 2014, and plans to pursue her Juris Doctor by 2019.

Jodi Morris of Augusta, GA, is currently earning her master's in education from Liberty University and expects to graduate in May 2019.


Chelsea Hylton of New Orleans, LA, has studied the effect of mindfulness and yoga on the quality of life for elementary school students and teachers, in collaboration with Tulane University. The group that participated in yoga and mindfulness activities had improved psychosocial and emotional quality-of-life scores. The results have been published by The Journal of Psychology Research and Behavior Management.

Alexandra Moor of Charleston, SC, is Executive Director at Be A Mentor, located in North Charleston. She earned her M.A.T. from the University of South Carolina in May 2015.

Aly Pane is Event Manager at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. She earned her master's degree in sport and entertainment management from the University of South Carolina in December 2014.


Brooke Hohman of Brookhaven, GA, is Co-Owner and General Manager for Mavericks Cantina in Johns Creek, GA.


Alex Pappas of Eagle River, AK, is the Membership Sales Coordinator at The Alaska Club, a health and fitness club with 14 locations in the state of Alaska.

Celena Courchaine and Michael Richards '15 were married on April 28, 2018 at Lake Lure, NC. The couple resides on Daniel Island, SC.


Crystal Brodie of Charleston, SC, has joined Carolina One Real Estate as a Realtor, and will be working from the Summerville office.

Rachel Floyd Castejon and her husband, Alfonso, own a Spanish food pop-up restaurant in Charleston, SC. They can be found at Charles Towne Fermentory in West Ashley every Wednesday and Saturday as well as other breweries on Friday.

Harrison Gaeng is Customer Success Operations Manager at Baker Technologies in Denver.

Abbie Geddings Linnerud has joined Trio Solutions Inc. in Mount Pleasant, SC, as an Account Manager.

Joe Quinn is Owner and Operator of two Jimmy John's restaurants in Lowell, MA.


Elise Williamson of Florence, SC, is Community Engagement Coordinator at Molina Healthcare.


Diana Pilzer is working in Hamburg, Germany as a Global Quality Assurance Working Student for Beiersdorf AG while studying for her master's in global logistics and supply chain management at Kuehne Logistics University. She expects to graduate in 2019.


Faith Spencer (MAT) of Charleston, SC, united in marriage with James Armstrong, on April 7, 2018 at Madison Avenue Presbyterian Church in New York City.
