Gail Gillis Fieser and her husband, Terry M. Fieser, PhD, have retired and moved from Oceanside, CA, to Pell City, AL.


Nicholas Sottile is a Partner and Attorney for Shumaker Loop & Kendrick LLP in Charleston, SC.


Chevis Clark is a Gemologist at Sohn & McClure Jewelers in Charleston, SC.


Edward Keith, Jr. has retired and is pursuing his dream of becoming an author. He earned a master's degree in management science from Southern Wesleyan University and a doctorate in business administration from Argosy University Online. While a student at Argosy, he was inducted into the international honor society in business, management, and administration. He currently resides in Hanahan, SC.


Colleen Lenny Clark is a Team Leader for the SC Department of Education in Columbia. She married Eric Capron on May 25, 2016, and has one daughter, Mary Catherine Clark.

Bert G. "Skip" Utsey III has been named a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, one of the premier legal associations in North America. Mr. Utsey serves as Vice President of the SC Association for Justice and is a member of the American Association for Justice. He is a partner in the firm of Peters, Murdaugh, Parker, Eltzroth & Detrick PA, and has been practicing for 32 years in Charleston and Walterboro, SC.


Eileen Schweers Ray spent a few years volunteering as a Physical Therapist at the Matthews Free Medical Clinic in Charlotte, NC. She recently returned to her original role as a Neurological Physical Therapist at Gaitway of Charlotte where she provides innovative rehabilitation in the patient's home.


Amy Carpenter is a Teacher for Aiken County School District and lives in Aiken, SC.


Courtney Merritt King is an Advisor and Realtor for Engel & Völkers International Real Estate. She was a featured realtor on HGTV's Living Big Sky and What You Get for the Money. She and her husband, Gene, live in Bozeman, MT, with their son, Grady.


Scott Garris earned his doctorate from the MUSC College of Dental Medicine in 1998, and has been practicing dentistry ever since. He is the owner of St. George Dental Care, Santee Dental Care, and has just taken over the former New Smile LLC Family Dentistry in Holly Hill, SC. Scott and his family live in St. George, SC.

Guy Rosenlieb is a Police Officer for the City of Charleston. He and his wife Tracey Smith Rosenlieb live in Charleston, SC, and have three sons.

Jakki Messina Sukeena is the Senior Creative Manager and Copywriter for Spectrum Communications and lives in Redington Beach, FL. She has received numerous advertising awards for TV and print over her 25+ year career.


Stephanie Leonard Yarbrough (MPA '98) married John Cannon Few on October 12, 2019, at St. Philip's Church in Charleston, SC. Stephanie is a Partner and Attorney with the Womble Bond Dickinson law firm in Charleston, and John is an Associate Justice of the S.C. Supreme Court.


Meredith Gibson was recently promoted to Media Director at the Institute for Public Strategies, a nonprofit organization in San Diego, CA, where she is developing a policy mapping lab.


Jessica Taylor Brown is the Executive Director of All 4 Autism in Florence, SC, and opened the Autism Resource Center of the Pee Dee, the first and only in the region, where they currently provide free resources and support to over 600 families. She worked with city leaders to recognize April as Autism Awareness Month in Florence through an official proclamation. Ms. Brown lives in Florence, SC, with her husband, Danny, and her three children, Jack, Sam, and Max.


Stephanie Holliday Grindle earned her MBA from Samford University in 2004, and is a Registered Client Service Manager for Raymond James Financial Services. She and her husband, Bryan, live in Bessemer, AL, with their two children.

Amie Pierce married Thomas McInerney on June 9. 2018, on Sullivan's Island. Amie is a First Grade Teacher at Ashley Hall. The couple lives in downtown Charleston, SC.


Sarah Monroe Rogis earned her MEd in college student development in 2009 from Virginia Commonwealth University, and is Director of Undergraduate Career Development at the University of Virginia. She and her husband,Dean, welcomed their first child, Evelyn Monroe Rogis, on March 23, 2018. The Rogis family lives in Charlottesville, VA.


Kristina Riegle will be performing the role of Mrs. Cratchit in "A Christmas Carol" at Meadow Brook Theatre in Rochester Hills, MI, in November and December 2019. She earned a master's degree in vocal performance from The Boston Conservatory in 2008. She and her husband, David Gram, live in Rochester Hills.


Brook Raynal Griffin has worked in the Charleston real estate market for more than 14 years. She is now an agent with The Cassina Group, based in Mount Pleasant, SC. She and her husband, James, live in Charleston, SC.

Josh Holliday earned his M.Ed in educational leadership from the University of Kentucky in 2009, and is now the Principal at Keowee Elementary School. He and his wife, Sally, live in Seneca, SC, with their two sons, Silas and Jude.

Kira Parris-Moore published a children's book this year titled Trey the Chef, which is about her eldest son, Trey, who has Autism and a passion for cooking. The book includes helpful hints on what to do with an Autistic person and recipes for adults to try with their children. Book Authority listed the book as one of the top chef e-books of 2019.


Lauren Silcott Doherty received her MS in Counseling from Oklahoma State University in 2010. She and her husband, Michael, live in Katy, TX, with their three sons.


Deshia Leonhirth married Adam Breaux on April 10, 2019. She earned her PhD from the University of South Carolina in public health and policy, and received tenure and a promotion to Associate Professor at the University of South Carolina Upstate in July 2019. Deshia and Adam live in Greenville, SC.

Nicholas Glover has been named Vice President and Head of Advocacy for the Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce in Florida.


Katie Puza Alex lives in Dallas, TX where she is a Consultant for management consulting group Bain & Company.

Anna Meachum married Said Nashashibi on October 5, 2019, at the Museum of the City of New York. She is the Vice President for Brand Marketing at Halsbrook, an online fashion retailer in New York City.


Brad and Amanda Crocker Chapman welcomed their second daughter, Molly Elizabeth, on October 3, 2019. The Chapman family lives in Murrells Inlet, SC.

Lindsay Lott Clever is a Training Team Lead for South Carolina Federal Credit Union. She lives in Moncks Corner with her husband, Michael, and their two daughters.

Will Nicholson married Shelly Shackleton on September 7, 2019 in Cashiers, NC. Will earned his JD from Charleston School of Law in 2013 and is employed by the law firm of Nicholson, Meridith and Anderson, of Greenwood, SC.


Andrea Carlisle Fletcher (MPA) and her husband, Jacob, live in Memphis, TN with their two daughters, Amelia and Corinne. Andrea is the Upper School Studio Art and Photography Teacher at St. Mary's Episcopal School.

Dan Hillman is the Managing Director of Waterfund in London. He married Rosie de Pelet on June 15, 2019.

Ellen Iroff married Mark Swick on May 14, 2017. Ellen is the Costume Shop Manager for the College's Department of Theatre and Dance.

Caroline Vanvick has been appointed to President Donald Trump's administration as the acting Assistant Secretary for Public Affairs, Department of Housing and Urban Development in Washington, DC. In her role, she will oversee the Department's communications efforts, media affairs, and public outreach.


Renee Harvey and Matt Graves were married and lived abroad for four years while Matt earned his MD from Jagiellonian University in Kraków, Poland. Renee is the Director of Customer Success for MPCT, a healthcare software company. Matt is an Anesthesiology Resident Physician at MUSC, working in both the ORs and ICUs. In their free time, they like to volunteer with local animal rescue groups. The couple lives in Charleston, SC, with their three dogs.

D.A. Leigh is the Director of Legislative Affairs for the National Association of Chemical Distributors in Arlington, VA, where he was named the 2018 employee of the year.

Meghan McCormack is the Alumni Clubs Coordinator for The Citadel Alumni Association in Charleston, SC.

Megan Van Gieson is a Commercial Sales Representative for Carolina Office Systems in Charleston, SC.


Sarah Beth Johnson married Cameron Cox on March 17, 2018, in Charleston, SC. She works at Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in Charleston, SC.

Collin Hodges earned both his master's degree and PhD in economics from West Virginia University. He is a Visiting Assistant Professor of economics at the University of Central Arkansas.

Leonard Ravenell is working as the General Manager Trainer for Speedway LLC in Raleigh, NC. He is studying at Liberty University for his master of divinity, chaplaincy.


Michael McCarthy is earning his master's in public administration at Clemson University with plans to graduate in May 2020.

Jake Reutter and Corinna Mazurek '15 were married on May 26, 2019, in Chesterfield, NJ. Jake is a Financial Analyst at Ellucian and Corrine is the Assistant Principal at Phoenixville Area High School. She earned her master's in educational leadership from Montclair State University in August. The couple lives in Phoenixville, PA.


Sarah Mattlage married Christian Dolan on July 27, 2019, in Raleigh, NC. Sarah works as a Tour Director at DanceMakers Inc. in downtown Charleston, SC. The couple lives in Mount Pleasant, SC.

Sarah Heckman is a NEMPAC and Grassroots Advocacy Manager for the American College of Emergency Physicians in Washington, D.C.

Alayna Johnson has relocated to Los Angeles, CA where she is a PhD student at the University of Southern California studying political science and international relations.

Chris-Marcus Kitchings is the HRSA Project TeamUP Coordinator at the University of San Diego in California.

Amelia Navarrete Little and her husband, Ryan, welcomed their first son, Crawford, on July 3, 2019. Amelia is an English teacher and department chair at Burke High School in Charleston, SC. She won the New Teach Network Best-in-Network award for her project, "Finding a Voice." Amelia is studying educational leadership at The Citadel, with plans to graduate with her M.Ed in 2021.

Ben Mackay is a Vice President with the consulting firm, AlixPartners, in Washington, D.C. He is completing his MBA at Georgetown University.

Gabrielle Perry is a Pathologist Assistant at McLeod Health in Florence, SC. She is completing her master's degree in anatomical pathology from Tulane University School of Medicine.

Phillip Smith is an Associate Architect at MHK Architecture & Planning in Greenville, SC. He earned his master's degree in architecture from Notre Dame in 2019. His thesis, A Counter Proposal to the International African American Museum, Charleston, SC, was featured in the Notre Dame School of Architecure Newsletter.


Kristin Clark was promoted to Paid Media Manager at ForwardPMX after working for only nine months in the advertising industry. Kristin now manages two coordinators, three clients, and has a total budget of $1.4 million of yearly ad spend. She is leading the breakout of Amazon advertising across her agency and living in Long Island City, NY.

Dane Gifford is the Operations Officer and COO of Made 2 Move Physical Therapy on Daniel Island, SC. He has helped to grow the company from one employee to a team of six in addition to helping to increase annual gross revenue six-fold. Made 2 Move has been voted Best of Mount Pleasant Magazine three years in a row. In February 2020, Made 2 Move will be celebrating its four-year anniversary.

John Lambert is the Mobility Coordinator for Berkeley Charleston Dorchester Council of Governments in North Charleston, SC.

Olivia Roberson completed two years as a postgraduate associate at Yale University. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher and is enrolled in Inner Peace, a yoga therapy program in Potomac, MD.

Naomi Samuels is the Sales Manager at The Westin New Orleans in Louisiana.

Therese Spaseff is the Director of Entertainment and Programming for the Charleston Gaillard Center in Charleston, SC.


Gregory Cushing is the Building Coordinator for the SC Aeronautical Training Center at Trident Technical College in North Charleston, SC.

Tyler Fritz is an In Store Partner for Kraft Heinz Company in Winchester, VA.

Andi McAfee has relocated to Los Angeles, CA, where she is a Real Estate Assistant for Compass Realty.

Mason Coombs married Alexander McGoogan on April 28, 2018 at Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, SC. The couple now resides in Awendaw, SC.

Lauren Shipley is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Artisan Global. Her company hosted an impact gallery and benefit event at Redux Studios in Charleston, SC, in October to raise funds for building the first multi-purpose Artisan Workspace in Gulu, Uganda. The goal is to open the building in 2020 in order to create over 100 jobs for local entrepreneurs.

Nicole Stepanek is a Site Acquisition Specialist for SAI Communications in Salem, NH.

Matt Weatherford is a Portfolio Analyst for CMRE Group, Inc. in Atlanta, GA.


Jackson D'Antonio is Manager at The Establishment, a restaurant on Broad Street in Charleston, SC.

Scott Harvin is an Account Coordinator at Exposure's New York City office and lives in Brooklyn, NY.

Anna Huger is a Sales Assistant at Jonathan Simkhai in West Hollywood, CA.


Alexis Babcock-Sklair is a Lowcountry Organizer for Cory Booker for President 2020 and lives in Charleston, SC.

Jermaine Blackmon, Jr. has joined the CofC men's basketball program as an Assistant Video Coordinator. He was previously a two-year student manager for the men's basketball team, before earning a spot on the team as a walk-on player during his junior and senior years at the College.

Kaitlin Cassidy is living in Boston, MA, and studying biostatistics and epidemiology at the Boston University School of Public Health. She plans to graduate in 2021 with her MPH.

Taite Daisey is the Assistant Store Manager for Kendra Scott jewelry on King Street in Charleston, SC. She is studying business and corporate law through Widener University Delaware Law School with plans to graduate in 2021.

David Furst is an Associate at Savills in New York City. The company provides commercial real estate services and solutions.

Olivia Gartner is an Interior Design Intern for Jayne Design Studio in New York City.

Kelly Nelson (MBA) is the Marketing Manager for Charlestowne Hotels in Charleston, SC. Previously, she served as president of the Charleston chapter of the American Marketing Association.

Sara Solomon is a Data Analyst for Freida Rothman in New York City.

Kelsey Wilson is a Development Associate for Discovery Place, Inc. in Charlotte, NC.
