CofC License Plate
If you are a resident of South Carolina, let everyone know you're a proud alumna/alumnus of the College of Charleston with a CofC license plate! There are two options for purchasing a CofC license plate:
OPTION 1: Limited edition CofC license plate, numbered 1-100:
- Make a one-time gift of $100 to the Alumni Association. This donation supports the Alumni Scholarship Program.
In addition to the one-time $100 donation, the South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles will charge $70 for two years plus the regular registration fee. The unrestricted scholarship fund at the College of Charleston will receive $40.
To start the process, please call the Alumni Affairs Office at 843-953-5630 to choose an available license plate number. Available Numbers as of November 20, 2020: 16, 21-24, 26-30, 32-42, 45-52, 55-57, 59-60, 62-64, 70, 74, 76, 79-80, 96, 98.
OPTION 2: Purchase a regular CofC license plate:
- College of Charleston License Plates are $70 every two years in addition to the registration fee. The unrestricted scholarship fund at the College of Charleston will receive $40.
- Order your CofC license plate through the South Carolina DMV.
