Maroon Move-In 2024: Alumni & Parent Volunteers -
Wednesday, August 14; Friday, August 16; and Saturday, August 17

Welcome new CofC students and their families to campus by volunteering for Maroon Move-In 2024! Alumni and parent volunteers will NOT be physically moving, unloading, or loading items; they will be greeting students and families and giving out snacks. 

Volunteers are welcome to register for up to two shifts on Wednesday, August 14; Friday, August 16; and Saturday, August 17 (10 am-4 pm for all dates). Shifts are 1.5 hours and are on a first-come, first-served basis. Locations and duties include: Towell Library (greeting families, checking in volunteers, and giving out t-shirts) and driving/riding in a Golf Cart (greeting families and distributing snacks). 

Volunteers will check in at Towell Library to receive their Maroon Move-In Volunteer Bella+Canvas t-shirt (solid maroon--back image to the left) to be worn during volunteer shifts. Volunteers will not be ticketed if they park in H Lot (next to 13 Coming St.) or AD Lot (behind Addlestone Library; do not park in spots labeled "24/7"). Some residential street parking may also be available.

Step one: Register below to participate in Maroon Move-In and look for your confirmation email*. The last day to register is Monday, August 12, while slots are available.

Step two: Sign up for a maximum of two volunteer shifts using the Sign Up Genius link in your confirmation email. Shifts are on a first-come, first-served basis, and only the shifts available will appear. You are not fully signed up until you successfully register for shifts through Sign Up Genius. The last day to sign up for shifts is Monday, August 12, while slots are available. All volunteers must register with us below and then choose their shift(s).

Your $10 registration fee helps cover the cost of your Bella+Canvas t-shirt, snacks for families moving in, and more.
